Spring break and other fun pictures!

So these are just the highlights of what was the best spring break ever!

I love sloths! And I love when my sloths are all over the world!

Gangsta sloth

Hi Sloths!

First of all, I miss you all!

But now for the real deal, the tut update:

School is over on Monday and then I have a week to try and get my shit together for finals. It turned out that all my finals are on one day except for one which is a paper I will have to turn in early because I am leaving town the next day. Anyways, you could say I’m a bit stressed out. The tests don’t worry me but the papers do.. I have two big research papers (both around 10 pages) and one shorter paper. All in espanol. So you could imagine it takes me a while to write everything. But with all this new “stress” I still find time to be a baller.

Anna and I adopted a new love for soccer, or footbol as they call it everywhere else in the world. Real Madrid is an amazing team and everytime they have a game we go to a bar and watch it with soccer crazed men. We now also became fans of the Champions’ League which is coming to an end and its getting really good. We watch it pretty religiously which is funny.

Yesterday Tesi (the sister of the Senora) invited me to go with her and her boyfriend Yann to a comedy show. They ended up changing their mind and they invited me and Anna to go over to Tesi’s cousin house with them. We of course went and we were drinking there and just hanging out for a while. Oh and they did mad coke. They insisted to speak English which was very cute of them and we talked for sooo long. They were really cool about everything and very welcoming to Anna. Then after awhile we decided to go back to our house and sit on the balcony and get more fucked up. We managed to score some free hash and we came home and they drank and blew more and we smoked a few joints and got really retarded. They ended up thinking I’m like the coolest person ever. I told them about the crew and the shit that goes down back in the U.S. Turns out they also love drugs, especially the bf, and that he has done almost anything in the book. Mind you, he’s super hot. SUPER hot. So anyways we went to bed at 6am and it was really awesome. I am so happy I got to finally hang out with them except that it’s too bad that it happened only 2 weeks before the end of the semester.

Other than that, all is really good. I have been playing lots of UNO lately, kicking some ass. Madrid has been beautiful and warm and I comfortably walk around with just a tanktop, it’s really nice.

Well I hope you all are going to rape your finals.. I miss you all very very much. I cannot wait to be reunited in only.. 4 months!

Holler back sloths!

High Sloth

So I hope you all had a great holiday! Here in DC the weather was great up until Sunday when it was rainy. For "Earth Day" there was a concert on 4/20 on the national mall. Totally awesome- some good bands and some celebrity activists. I ate some brownies, drank some beers and took a few down there. We all happened to find each other somehow in the crowd- I think it was like our stoner gravitational pull. So the blunts were goin, the beers were being passed around while we grooved to Umphreys McGee as it started raining torrents. I was way too fucked to be bothered by it and I think everyone else was having a good time too. Well, Chevy Chase was just about to do his schtick and tell us that the Earth is crying from all the raping we do to it when some organizer came on and shouted "Everyone! There are electrical storms in the area! Seek shelter! Do not stand by the trees!" or, as most people heard it, "EVERYONE PANIC!" so we jumped some fences and trudged through the mud to seek refuge on the steps of the National Gallery where we continued to drink beers, eat brownies, and smoke pot with our fellow observers of the holiday. I guess it was a bummer that the concert was cancelled but I was having the best time. We just continued our party and had an excellent fiesta. It was kind of surreal, actually. Now school is way intense as we have 3 days of class left and I have a million things to do so I have been blowing off steam by drinking freely due to my new legal 21 status. Hooray!
P.S. This is Sam. I had to make a blogspot blog for my Spanish class last year, and I don't know how to change my name.

Melissa Houle bruises easily...and doesnt have full fare.

As we all know melissa houle does not mix with several things. The most salient of the things she doesn't mix with certainly includes motion, as anyone who has ever ridden in a cab, car or 4-ride with her in the past four years. However, last weekend, she got into a physical altercation with a cab driver and the above picture is the result.

Beer Luck

So last week it was sunny and beautiful and, in the same vein as Reut's birthday last year, we had a beer luck. For those of you who need clarification a beer luck is kind of like a potluck, but just with beer. In addition to that Anthony's little sister Lilly came and visited. She is mad cool, indeed, a tiny bit cooler than anthony himself. *shocker*
just kidding.
but in other news, tomorrow is the Pennsylvania primary, and i'm fucking shitting my pants because I really want barack to win. For all of you hillary supporting sloths....i hope you slip off the tree.

Backpacking Sloth

Hey guys!
How is everyone? Currently I am backpacking my way through Europe and sitting in an internet cafe in Venice, which is absolutely gorgeous. I have met some very odd people, been through some very bizarre situations and have been very drunk along the way. Being on the continent has made me realize how much I love and miss London. London is great and I have a boy there named Nick who is an author/poet/screenplay writer (if you have the chance check out his film Romulus, My Father). I have made some great friends along the way and really dreading going back home in June but I will be working in NYC for the summer. As for traveling, I have been drunk in the Hofbrauhaus, Munich's largest beer hall, ended up randomly in a German sex club in Berlin (all stereotypes about German gays are true=leather and army fatigue wearing bears) Sang and danced in a Parisian bar, fell in love with the beauty of Madrid, met the hooked up with the hottest guy in Barcelona and then met someone from England who has further potential, explored the roman ruins in Rome, got absolutely plastered in Florence, and almost drowned in a canal in Venice. Tonight im off to Vienna and then Amsterdam for my birthday (21 hell yea!) followed by Copenhagen. I love and miss all you guys and can't wait to see all you sloths in DC. I will make sure that pictures come soon, once I get back to London.
Love you,
Larry

Hello Sloths!
I know I have not yet posted on the blog, and most of the sloths here in DC are pretty familiar with my every day experiences as I'm prone to mentioning them every 5 min or so, but for those lovely people abroad, here is the update...
I am running for class council, even though I got on it this past semester by interview. Despite its rather nerdy connotations It has actually been pretty fun. We have had a couple of cool events, one called " Party Like a Rockstar" which was sponsored by rockstar the energy drink and was a rockband ( the game) contest... we ended up giving the rockband to the winner. It was a great success, except, Anthony was the only friend who came out to support other than Jon. But, that's ok, all in all its pretty lame, but weirdly satisfies my feelings of wanting to be more in the GW community.
In other news, Emily, my friend from home has been living across the street from 2400 M in one of those town houses. She is taking a semester off from school and working for the Obama campaign ( a non profit called women for Obama) and also waiting tables at Old Glory in Georgetown. Although I was a little concerned about what it would be like to have a friend from home come to live out here in my environment, it has been pretty cool. Its nice to have that little piece of home out here, and I'm pretty sure every one likes her. Also, she has made aderall readily accessible which has been good for our grades, but maybe not so good for our souls/ sleeping patterns.
So, in order to finish this post before the old toshiba over heats and powers down ( which it just did) I should briefly talk about the man in my life. Its a pretty new thing for me but I'm enjoying it. I met Jon at 18th st lounge in the beginning of February. He's a second year law student at GWU but is pretty much on our level. He's from NJ and went to BU undergrad. He causes me a fair amount of stress ( most of which I make up in my head) because he acts like its a pretty serious relationship but tells me its not so serious... but that is really the only point of contention. Other than that he's way cool and personable and has hung out with the whole crew a few times. Also he smokes ( although not up to our standards) but even picked up from Sarah and made a waterfall the other day... I was impressed. As for the other man in my life, Seamus the cat is also a source of stress. He is really sweet when Sarah and I are just hanging out quietly. However, when any one else is here he acts wild and skittish, even when my mom and sis stayed for the night last weekend. I was pissed at Seamus for being mean to my mom.
But, all in all things are pretty good here in ol' DC. The weather is beautiful and Sunday is 420. There is a huge/ free music fest on the mall w/ a bunch of way cool bands and my work load, although a little redic, is feasible with a little self discipline.
I miss and love you all!

we didn't forget about the sloth

Although we're not dressed in drag (Btw Gyawu you look fierce!)this is a good picture of us, just kidding! we look like assholes, but this is all we got! Reut has come to join me in the wonderful Edinburgh. We walked around all day, took a long siesta, and now are drinking some wine after Reut made some Spanish Tortillas. So Dickey is running for class council eh? How times have changed. WE miss you all very much, and Tut is pissed becuase she's not a part of this blog and I don't know how to invite her. I just got back from a very long spring break. I spent two weeks in London and got to see Melissa and Landon!!! It was pretty awesome, then i went off to Prague, Munich, Berlin, and Paris, met up with Larry for a little. I unfortch had to cut it short becuase I had some work to do. I have no more classes so I'm just fucking around for the next month and then moving to London for the summer, living with Timmy and hopefully working, but I haven't found a job yet : (. We both miss you all very much, we've just been reminiscing about the good old days and how none of the people we have met compare to you guys at home. In all seriousness, the people suck and are such fucking amateurs. We miss you guys, cheychey misses Gelman and fuck, do I miss adderall, It's not the same trying to write a paper not being cracked out and not being in Gelman, it really fucks with your head.

Hi, this is tut, tut boot, whatevs. so yeah, im here with ma girl chey chey, sad because this is the second to last trip im making during this semester. Right after finals I am going on a beach vacation for 3 days and then the semester is over. pretty depressing. but then my parents are coming and then i'll be in london and israel so i guess life isn't over until i get back to denver in july. i just returned from a trip to morocco on sunday which was amaaaazing. we visited markets, monuments, the mountains and the local hash dealer. actually every person on the street is a local hash dealer. the weekend before that i went to galicia, the spanish part above portugal, which is so beautiful. we were lucky it didnt rain and we got to go to the beach and get drunk and high on a boat.. all paid for by GW. i'm happy that i got to talk to some of you on the phone recently, i have missed sanity (or lack of) in my life. please someone invite me to this blog because cheyenne and i can't figure out how to.

cheyenne just jacked wafers from the kitchen, i told her to go girl. that's ma girl chey chey!

in conclusion- we are both well, horny and still got the munchies.

until next time

adios!

Glitter Ball Y'all

Why would I want to be traveling the continent of Europe or exploring the other side of the earth in tokyo when I could be here in beautiful Washington DC? While answers to this question abound, I can say that there have been some glimmers of sunlight in this otherwise lonely semester.
I forgot to tell you guys about GW's first ever Glitter Drag Ball. Allied In Pride-GW's LGBTQ group put on a drag show with a number of extremely talented performers, most notably among them--yours truly. Tucker and I performed the late 90's female empowerment anthem 'where my girls at' for a crowd of about 100. It was quite the experience---Initially I was a bit scared of getting on stage in front of the highly critical GW gay scene, but after I put on my platinum gold wig and Naomi's poppin' dress, I felt right at home alongside the professional performers.
It actually got really sweaty and raunchy--the host was one of gw's most infamous lesbians--MJ, she was more than tipsy on stage and introduced me as...well i can't really remember what she introduced me as (because I was crunked too), but it was something a long the lines of "Gyawu 'brand new vagina"  Mahama. It was awesome because literally everyone we know was in the crowd and melissa and naomi were dressed as men. Anyways, I have to go now, because I',m in the library procrastinating my ass off, but i'll include a link to the real video of the song we performed just so you can get a little indication of what my shimmy looks like.
Hugs and Kisses.
